The 2018 Richmond Election is less than a month away, and we want to make sure you have all the necessary information at your disposal to make an educated vote on General Voting Day, Saturday, Oct. 20. Below is some information that you may find helpful.

- Find out if you are eligible to vote by clicking here. If you are, and have never voted in the general and local school election before, you can register in person — remember to bring two pieces of identification.
- Locate your voting place using this online tool. There are 39 designated spots around the city.
- You may vote if you are a Canadian citizen, at least 18 years old on Oct. 20, 2018, have been a B.C. resident for a minimum of six months, a Richmond resident for a minimum of 30 days, and not legally disqualified.
- Will you be away on the advance voting days and General Voting Day, or have a prohibitive physical disability, illness and/or injury? Contact the Richmond Elections Office to vote by mail or find out more about accessible voting options.
