On Thursday, June 2nd, 2022, the Richmond Poverty Reduction Coalition (RPRC) held their second annual general meeting. Members and guests reviewed activities that occurred in 2021. In addition, the coalition unanimously agreed to adopt the Richmond Community Protocol:  Responding to Racism and Hate. This protocol is designed to help organizations, community members and all relevant stakeholders react promptly and effectively whenever critical incidents of racism, hate crime or related incidents occur. Other activities at the meeting included a presentation for service agencies about the Family Services of Greater Vancouver “Money Skills” program. More information may be found on the website.
