Lets Talk Richmond, the city’s engagement portal, is seeking input from the public on what a future Food Hub could look like The aim is to support the growth of existing and new food production/processing businesses. The Richmond PRC is advocating for the following from a potential hub:
- Commercial kitchen(s)
- Emergency food programs (food bank and food recovery/rescue)
- Job training in food processing/ distribution/ storage/ disposal
