Check out this photo of the Richmond Advocacy and Support Committee (RASC), a network of self-identified low-income residents, at the 2023 Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives (RCRG) Volunteers Are Stars Awards. RASC was nominated in the Constellation category recognizing outstanding volunteer groups. This year’s festivities took place — in person for the first time since 2019 — on April 19 at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel. The event recognizes volunteers who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in the Richmond Community.
