Take part in a discussion about critical areas of urban livability, focusing on what is needed to make cities work for women and girls — and their communities — both now and in the future. This free event features speakers Suzanne Doerge, City for All Women Initiative director, Jessica Wood, Gitxsan-Tsimshian activist, Andrea Reimer, City of Vancouver councillor, and performances by ReSisters and the Raging Grannies.
Tea and cakes will be served, and childcare cost assistance may be available by contacting info@womentransformingcities.org. The café takes place on Jan. 24 at Vancouver’s Heritage Hall (3102 Main St.), from 1 to 4 p.m.
