Summer is here, and that means camp season has also arrived. We have just finished compiling a summer camp directory for low-income families — some of the locations are in Richmond, and others are within fairly easy reach of the Lower Mainland. Most of the entries offer some form of a subsidy that require applicants to fill out and send in a simple form, usually asking for proof of income or a statement of why financial assistance is requested. There is also some information at the bottom of the directory listing organizations that provide external subsidies. Happy camping!
