The City of Richmond and Richmond Public Library will be offering its first Snacks & Facts session on Tuesday, March 5 from 2:00 – 4:00pm at Ironwood Library, as part of the new Community Services Connectors Pilot Program.
This session will focus on Income Tax Benefits and Credits and will be led by Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Service Canada.
Richmond residents with lower incomes are invited to get together for a snack in the Living Room at Ironwood Library and learn about:
- Income tax benefits and credits such as the Canada child benefit, the GST/HST credit, the Disability tax credit, the Canada workers benefit, and the Canada Dental Benefit
- Using the Benefits Finder tool to see what you may be eligible to receive
- Finding a free tax clinic in Richmond
