Office of MP Alice Wong
With the current Health Accord expiring at the end of this month, and the refusal by the federal government to renegotiate it, Canadians across the nation will be holding rallies to let MP’s know it is time to take action to ensure the future of our health care system. Expiration of the Accord will result in a $36 billion dollar cut to public health care, and an additional $16.5 billion cut to health care equalization payments.
We invite Richmond residents to come out and show their support on March 31 from 3:30 to 4 p.m. outside of MP Alice Wong’s office (360-5951 No. 3 Rd.) If you can’t make it out, we encourage you call or email her office to voice your opinion. For more information, visit the Canadian Health Coalition website.
