Mark your calendar for the gala musical concert in support of Richmond seniors living in poverty.
Taking place at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12 at Gilmore Park United Church (corner of Blundell and No. 1 Rd. in Richmond), the music will include New Orleans style jazz, light classics and folk. All proceeds will go to a new initiative, a seniors rent bank designed to provide short term funding to Richmond seniors enabling them to secure or maintain their housing, operated by Chimo Community Services.
Tickets are $15 each or buy a book of ten for $135 — they are available by calling the church at 604-277-5377. A dessert reception will follow the concert.
