The Richmond Poverty Reduction Coalition (RPRC) is a group of community volunteers comprised of local social services, the faith community, community organizations and members of the public including those affected by poverty. Founded by several Richmond-based organizations, the RPRC was formed as a response to the release of ‘A Sense of Belonging’, a poverty report commissioned by the Richmond Community Services Advisory Committee with funding from the United Way of the Lower Mainland.
Our goal is to work towards alleviating the effects of poverty in our community. The RPRC has a strong track record of identifying gaps in services in our community, working towards a solution and identifying funding sources and partnering with a suitable agency.
